Prepare your electric rice cooker

Unpack the rice cooker and remove all the parts. Wash the inner pot, lid, spatula, and measuring cup with hot water and mild detergent. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly before assembly. Ensure the rice cooker is placed on a flat, stable surface. Check the power cord for any damage and that the voltage matches your household's electrical supply.

Use your electric rice cooker

Measure the rice and water according to the provided instructions or the general rice-to-water ratio. Place the rice and water into the inner pot. Wipe the bottom of the pot and place it inside the cooker, turning it slightly to ensure proper fitting onto the heater plate. Close the lid, press the operation switch to the 'cook' mode, the indicator will light up, and cooking will begin. When cooking is complete, the switch will pop up with a click sound, and the light will turn to "warm” setting. Allow the rice to stand for 10-15 minutes before serving, for best results. Use the spatula provided to serve the rice to avoid scratches. Ensure it is fully cooked, serve hot, and enjoy your meal!
