Your pizza peel journey begins here.
Prepare your pizza peel
Your pizza peel arrives in separate parts-the peel blade, wooden handle, knob, and screw. Begin by attaching the handle securely to the blade using the screw and knob. Once assembled, hand-wash all parts with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Lightly dust the blade with flour or semolina to reduce sticking. Preheat your oven so the peel can slide your pizza in smoothly.
Use your pizza peel
Assemble your pizza on a floured surface or directly on the peel. Slide the tapered edge under the dough with a gentle forward motion. Use the long wooden handle to safely place the pizza into your hot oven, rotating when needed for even cooking. Once done, lift the pizza out and transfer it to a board. After cooking, fold the handle down or hang the peel using the built-in storage hole.
Maintain your pizza peel
Allow the peel to cool fully before cleaning. Hand-wash only, avoiding long soaking to protect the wooden handle. Dry thoroughly after each use. Do not place in the dishwasher. Store the peel by folding the handle for compact storage or hanging it via the handle’s built-in hole. Regular cleaning and proper drying will keep your peel in top condition for long-lasting use.
