Now, let’s get into the soup making! Here are 7 super simple, but absolutely delicious soup recipes that you will want to try and relish.

  1. Tomato soup – An absolute classic, this is also one of the easy recipes for soup maker that you can make in literally no time! All you really need is some really good quality tomatoes, which you have to wash and cut in quarters. Add a small chopped onion, carrot and a celery stalk. Pour in vegetable stock and a pinch of sugar and turn the soup maker on. Once ready, make sure that you check the seasoning and serve with a dash of fresh cream on top!
  2. Mushroom soup – This creamy and delectable soup can be prepared in a jiffy, especially when you have our soup maker in your kitchen. Button or chestnut mushrooms work best for this recipe – chop mushrooms, onions and garlic cloves, combine with single cream, chicken stock and a single bay leaf. You will want to set the soup maker to the smooth setting and once ready, you can add salt, fresh cracked pepper, some more cream and a sprinkle of chopped parsley!
  3. Leek & potato soup – A British classic, the leek and potato soup might require you to bring out one extra pan, because in this recipe, you will have to sauté the leeks and onions in some butter first. Once this is done, you can add the peeled and chopped potatoes, sauteed leeks, stock (vegetable or chicken) and cream. This soup too tastes best when it is smooth in consistency, but if you want texture in your soup, you can garnish with some finely sliced leeks that are sautéed in butter.
  4. Vegetable soup – Health in a bowl – that is one of the easiest ways to describe a vegetable soup and with our tasty soup maker recipes, it will be easy to prepare as well. Collect all the veggies you like - onions, celery, carrots, potatoes, green beans, peas and even sweet corn – and prep them. Put them in the soup maker, along with stock, herbs like thyme or rosemary and remember to set the machine to chunky, because this is a soup that you will want to be heartier!
  5. Roast chicken soup – On a cold rainy day, there is nothing more comforting than a bowl of chicken soup and what better if you can use leftover chicken? For this soul soothing soup, you will need chopped onions and carrots, some frozen peas, thyme leaves and of course, chicken stock. Use the chunky setting and once the soup is done, stir in some shredded chicken. You can serve this soup with some toasted bread or even croutons. If you want to make a meal of this, add some boiled noodles or macaroni!
  6. Carrot & coriander soup – Don’t you hate it when there are just bits and bobs of veggies left at the bottom of your fridge? A single carrot, a single stalk of celery and the last handful of coriander leaves? Now, you can combine all these leftovers and make a luscious soup. With some chopped carrots, onions, celery, potato and stock, you can make a smooth soup that is sheer luxury. The final touch comes with the coriander leaves that you add towards the end of the cooking cycle and that final flourish of fresh cream!
